These so-called 'complexities' come in way of of his receiving high quality medical care or to simply look after his general wellbeing. We cannot assume that he is not interested in being healthy.

Workshop Information

GOAL OF THE WORKSHOP
The forum will stress importance of health literacy along with for hands-on practice with recommended communication skills. The workshop will first define the concept, describe the scope of the problem, and emphasize how low health literacy affects all segments of society, not only those with limited educational literacy or socioeconomic status and then stress the need for clear communication, embedded communication within the healthcare system.
