Topic: Importance of Information Therapy

 Kunal G.Pai is a 3rd MBBS (Final year) student from Seth G. S. Medical College & K. E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, one of the most reputed and prestigious institutes for medical education in India. He has been an active participant in various medical workshops and seminars in last couple of years. He has a keen interest in clinical research. Currently he is doing a research in Orthopaedics on the pattern of drug utilization of Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs in a tertiary care instititute. He participated as a delegate in training workshop on Emergency Medicine and Disaster Preparedness conducted by FlyingDoc Incorporation, USA & University of Southern California, in February 2010. He has secured distinctions in both, the HSC as well as the SSC examinations, which he gave from Mithibai College and Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School respectively.

Apart from academics he has also been inclined towards various extracurricular activities. Some of which include, participation in the UNESCO World Youth Festival on ‘Climate Change and Global Warming’ held in Stuttgart, Germany 2009. He was Head of “LAN GAMING” in Annual Inter collegiate cultural festival- ‘Aavishkaar’ 2009.He is an active volunteer for PETA(People for Ethical Treatment of Animals). He cycled for a cause “Cruelty against animals” in Mumbai Cyclothon 2011 for the Kimaya foundation. He has also been active in community service in relation to association with activities like blood donation, volunteering for the underprivileged. His hobbies include watching sports ,movies ,music and travelling.
